Terms of Service
Last updated: 12 Jun 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of StageOS, an entertainment industry management platform operated from the United Kingdom ("we", "us", or "StageOS"). By creating an account, submitting a preregistration, or otherwise using StageOS, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the service.
1. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is older.
- You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating an account and keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for any activity that occurs under your account.
2. Accounts and access tiers
StageOS offers Free, Basic, and Pro account tiers, each with different storage, upload, and feature allowances as described on our Pricing page. We may add, remove, or change tier allowances on reasonable notice. Continued use of a paid plan after a material change constitutes acceptance of the change.
3. Subscriptions, billing, and renewal
- Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring monthly or annual cycle through our payment processor, Stripe.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the then-current price unless cancelled before the renewal date.
- All prices are shown in USD and are exclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
- If a payment fails, we may suspend access to paid features until payment is brought up to date.
4. Cancellation and refunds
You may cancel a paid subscription at any time from your account billing settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you will retain access to paid features until then and will not be charged again. Refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
5. Your content
- You retain all ownership rights in the content you upload to StageOS, including your EPK media, biographies, press materials, and downloadable files ("Your Content").
- You grant StageOS a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, display, distribute, and transmit Your Content solely as necessary to operate the service and deliver the features you have enabled (for example, displaying a public EPK page or generating a download bundle).
- You represent that you own or have all necessary rights to Your Content and that it does not infringe any third party rights.
- You are responsible for keeping your own backups of Your Content. While we operate routine technical backups, we do not guarantee retention or recovery.
6. Acceptable use
You must not use StageOS to:
- upload, distribute, or link to unlawful, infringing, defamatory, harassing, hateful, or sexually exploitative material;
- distribute malware, viruses, or other malicious code;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to any account, system, or data;
- scrape, harvest, or otherwise extract data from the service except via interfaces we provide;
- resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the service except as expressly permitted by these Terms;
- impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with any artist, label, agency, or organisation.
We operate content moderation, malware scanning, and abuse-reporting workflows. We may remove content, suspend accounts, or terminate access where we reasonably believe these Terms or applicable law have been breached.
7. Third-party services
StageOS integrates with third-party services including Cloudinary (media storage and transformation), Stripe (payments), Google APIs (mapping, search, AI features), and SMTP providers (transactional email). Your use of those features is also subject to the respective provider's terms. We are not responsible for third-party service availability or actions.
8. Beta status and changes
StageOS is currently offered as a limited beta release. Features may change, be added, or be removed without notice. We will use reasonable efforts to communicate material changes in advance where practicable.
9. Service availability
We aim to provide reliable access to StageOS but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. The service is provided "as is" and "as available". We may perform maintenance, updates, and emergency work at any time.
10. Data security and breach notification
We implement technical and organisational measures to protect your account and the data you store on StageOS, including encrypted data transmission (TLS), hashed credential storage, and access controls. However, no internet-based service can guarantee absolute security.
In the event of a personal data breach that is likely to result in a risk to your rights and freedoms, we will notify affected users and, where required by applicable law (including UK GDPR Article 33), the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) within 72 hours of becoming aware of the breach. Notification to you will be made by email to the address registered on your account and/or by a prominent notice within the service.
You share responsibility for your own security. You must use a strong, unique password, keep your login credentials confidential, and notify us immediately at info@stageosapp.com if you suspect unauthorised access to your account. We are not liable for losses arising from your failure to maintain the security of your credentials.
As noted in Section 5, you should not store sensitive, confidential, or Special Category personal data on StageOS. Our security measures are proportionate to a public promotional platform, not a high-security data processor. Data you choose to upload beyond the intended promotional use is uploaded at your own risk.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, StageOS and its officers, employees, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill arising out of or in connection with your use of the service. Our aggregate liability arising from or relating to these Terms or the service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid to StageOS in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) GBP 100.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation.
12. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold StageOS harmless from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to (a) Your Content, (b) your use of the service in breach of these Terms, or (c) your violation of any law or third-party right.
13. Termination
- You may terminate your account at any time from your account settings or by contacting info@stageosapp.com.
- We may suspend or terminate your account on reasonable notice, or immediately for material breach of these Terms.
- On termination, your access to the service ends. We may delete Your Content after a reasonable period unless we are required to retain it by law.
14. Governing law and disputes
These Terms and any dispute arising out of them are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that nothing prevents you from bringing proceedings in the courts of your country of residence where required by mandatory consumer-protection law.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email or by a prominent notice on the service. Continued use of StageOS after the effective date of a change constitutes acceptance.

These Terms are provided in good faith as a baseline for a UK-based SaaS service in limited beta. They are not legal advice. You should obtain independent legal review before relying on them in a commercial dispute.
