Cookie Policy
Last updated: 12 Jun 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how StageOS uses cookies and similar technologies. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow the site to recognise your browser between requests so that, for example, you stay signed in or your form submissions are protected against cross-site forgery attacks.
Cookies we use
Strictly necessary
- Authentication and session cookies — issued by ASP.NET Core Identity to keep you signed in and to authorise access to your account, EPK editor, admin areas, and billing.
- Antiforgery cookies — protect form submissions against cross-site request forgery (CSRF) attacks.
- TempData cookies — carry short-lived state across HTTP redirects, such as confirmation messages after saving an EPK.
These cookies are required for the service to function. They are not used for tracking or advertising and cannot be disabled while continuing to use authenticated features.
Functional
- Editor draft cookies — remember in-progress EPK edits between page loads so you do not lose unsaved work.
Analytics and advertising
StageOS does not currently set analytics or advertising cookies. If we add them in future, we will update this page and where required by law display a consent banner before any non-essential cookie is set.
Third-party services
Some features rely on third-party providers that may set their own cookies when their components load on your device:
- Cloudinary — serves images and videos. May set caching/CDN cookies.
- Stripe — processes payments. Sets cookies necessary for fraud prevention and to operate the checkout flow.
- Google APIs — used for mapping and certain search features. Google may set cookies in accordance with its own privacy policy.
Each provider operates under its own privacy and cookie policy. Disabling third-party cookies in your browser may break the features that depend on them.
Managing cookies
Most browsers allow you to view, manage, and delete cookies through their settings. Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in to StageOS or using authenticated features.
Changes
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated in the same way as updates to our Privacy Policy.
